Yesterday PrimeIT’s first Webinar took place, which gathered Primers on our Youtube channel, and also many other technology lovers, to answer the question “Agile: Methodology for All?”. The event, which counted with the participation of Ricardo Nunes, Head of Prime Solutions and Prime Nearshore Delivery, and Bruno Sousa, Product Owner of Prime Solutions, approached several themes related to this form of development, used at PrimeIT in the context of “turnkey” projects and service management.

Agile Methodologies defend that, above all, it is important to perform continuous software delivery with value, maintaining constant communication with the client, but never neglecting the focus on communication between team members. Unlike previous practices in project development, the Agile methodology is not based on the integral definition of the entire product, a complete analysis or the definition of all categories/requirements, but rather on a dynamic interaction, which allows constant delivery. For the audience, that had an active presence during the whole session of Prime Webinar #1, and that shared with us their doubts and opinions, Agile Methodologies are still a world to discover. The participants revealed interest in the dynamics associated to the quality assurance delivery, in the way the implementation of these methods is put into practice and even in the skills to consider when choosing Agile to develop projects.

Prime Webinars are part of the online investment that PrimeIT will maintain during this year, with the purpose of keeping our team united and sharing experiences that value personal and professional growth. The next one will take place on March 8, to celebrate International Women’s Day, a date that would normally be marked with small actions in the office. With the impossibility of holding events that physically bring our Primers together, this approach will allow us to maintain the connection between employees, so important in our organisational culture, which we have maintained for over 14 years.
