Responsibilities:

– Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and infrastructure software.

– Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of servers, networks, and storage devices.

– Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions.

– Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups, security updates, and patches.

– Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access.

– Collaborate with IT staff and management to design and implement efficient and scalable infrastructure.

– Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing their system-related queries and issues.

– Maintain accurate documentation and records of system configurations, procedures, and incidents.

– Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest and implement improvements.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

– 2+ years of experience

– Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.

– Strong knowledge of networking protocols and systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.

– Proficiency in administering Linux and Windows operating systems.

– Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.

– Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.

– Experience managing and maintaining Active Directory and Group Policy.

– Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

– Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Professional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent.

– Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

– Knowledge of network security and vulnerability management.
